Sovereignty was never ceded. These lands always were, and always will be, first nation lands.

Tara currently lives, works and creates on the unceded lands of the Anishnaabewaki, Haudenosaunee, Métis, Wendake-Nionwentsïo, and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. Tara’s home is on the unceded lands of the Gadigal people of the Kurigai nation. She acknowledges these traditional owners and pays her respects to their Traditional Custodians and Elders past, present and future. She extends that respect to all First Nations, Métis and inuit peoples, and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
